Proceso de la creación de uno de mis nuevos proyectos para una agencia de viajes. Una gigantografía de tamaño 406cm x 242m. Sigo ocupado hasta Febrero con trabajo, así que esta es mi última entrada del año. Mi interpretación de Milla Jovovich realizado para mi clase de ilustración digital siguiendo como referencia el afiche de esta película. Quise demostrarle a mis alumnos que sí es posible pintar con el ratón, sólo que te demoras un poco más haciéndolo de esta manera. - My interpretation of Milla Jovovich for my digital illustration class. I used a poster of the movie as reference. I wanted to show to my students that is possible to paint with mouse, although it takes you a little bit more of time to do it in this way.

Una de las mejores adquisiciones de mi viaje fue la aplicación Colors para Nintendo Ds. Aquí mis primeros trabajos con este divertido software. De arriba abajo: Zapato de un señor en la sala de espera del aereopuerto de Los Ángeles, amanercer en el Gran Cañón después de una nevada la noche anterior y el Golden Gate de la hermosa ciudad de San Francisco. - One of the best purchases I got in my trip was Nintendo DS application, Colors. Here my first artworks with this fun software. Upper to down: Shoe of an old man in the hall of the airport in Los Angeles, sunrise in the Grand Canyon after a snow storm the night before and the Golden Gate in the beautiful city of San Francisco.

Tuve la suerte verlo en vivo el martes pasado en el partido que perdieron los Lakers contra los 76ers 94 a 93 en el Staples Center de L.A. Lo imprimí y lo dejé a uno de los guardias con la esperanza de que se lo entrege en persona. Como no tengo mi Wacom aquí y no tuve tiempo para terminarlo en Ecuador, tuve que pintar su cuerpo con mouse. - I was lucky for seeing him live from L.A.'s Staples Center last tuesday in the game where Lakers lost 94-93 against 76ers. I printed it and I left it to one of the guards hoping he can give it to him in person. As I don't have my wacom here and I didn't have time to finish it in Ecuador, I had to paint his body with mouse.

It was my last proyect of the past year, illustrated jointly with my brother and painted for me. I have been a bit away from the pencil and the paper this year, but I will start my new production in February.
