Reinterpretación de uno de mis personajes favoritos de mi infancia. El primer plano fue trabajado con técnicas mixtas tradicionales, (tinta de marcador, esfero negro y témpera blanca) y el fondo con técnicas digitales. Fue trabajado conjuntamente con la productora de televisión ADN Digital - Hand made illustrations of backgrounds for the government tv show "TVeo en Clases", which was destined to teach high school subjects to old people without it. It was a work along with the television production company ADN Digital.

En su visita vio mi trabajo y quiso una caricatura de ella junto con su novio para entregarle de regalo cuando se encontraran de nuevo en Bolivia! :) - I knew a very good friend through CouchSurfing. I hosted her in my place for a couple days. In her visit she saw my artwork and she wanted to get a caricature next to her boyfriend to give him when they see each other again in Bolivia! :)

Well, that happened to me when I make this personal caricature 4 years later from the last one I made. All the knowledge and trips condense in just one artwork, which I can't stop to compare with my first one.

Tarjeta Navideña Appix - Appix's Christmas Card

Escenarios de cuatro localidades de la ciudad de Zürich para hacer el recorrido de llegada a la empresa multimedia Appix. El recorrido interactivo va desde la Estación Central de Tren, pasando por la estación en Oerlikon, llegando al edificio NOERD para terminar finalmente en las oficinas de la empresa. Hace exactamente dos años tomé un curso de técnicas tradicionales de ilustración con el conocido artista colombiano Ródez. En ese entonces empecé tres piezas personales de las cuales nunca llegué a terminar ninguna. Finalmente me dí tiempo de acabar una de ellas, esta pequeña amiguita hecha a grafito, tintas y acrílico sobre madera. - Two years ago exactly, I took a course of traditional techniques in illustration, with the well known Colombian artist, Ródez. At that time I started three personal artworks and I didn't finish any of them. I got myself some of spare time to finish at least one. Is this little friend made on graphite, inks and acrylic on wood.

Una de las leyendas más representativas de la capital del Ecuador tiene que ver con un toro descarriado que entra a una casa a matar una niña de nombre Bella Aurora. Aquí la representación de este momento que fue montado en el C.C. el Jardín en la preparación de las fiestas de Quito! - One of the most representative legends of the capital of Ecuador. The legend says that an out of mind bull got into a house to kill a little girl which name was Bella Aurora. Here the representation of the moment. This project was exposed in the Jardin Mall for the preparations of Quito holidays!

Uno de los recuerdos más agradables que tengo de chico, era llegar a casa al medio día después del colegio y ver a esta tan divertida familia en tv. ¿Sabían que tenían un dragón como mascota debajo de las escaleras llamado "Manchita", y que le tiene miedo a su propia sombra? Yo lo llegué a ver en un capítulo, pero no lo recuerdo claramente. Como sea, aquí la familia completa, incluyendo a su fiel dragón. - One of the pleasant memories I have when I was a boy, it was to arrive at home after school at noon and watch this funny family on tv. Did you know they had a dragon under the stairs as pet, which name was "Spot" and he was scare of his own shadow? I saw him in one chapter, but I don't remember it clearly. Anyway, here the complete family, including their loyal dragon.

Tratando de perderle el miedo a los pinceles nuevos y viendo la manera de hacer que la línea original participe más de la composición. Siento que este es el camino a seguir. Uno de mis juegos favoritos desde siempre. La primera vez que ví a Ryu en la presentación original del juego quedé completamente impactado. Me sigue emocionando el poder cambiar de línea dependiendo del trabajo que realice, sobre todo por la oportunidad que tengo de aprender nuevos estilos de mucha gente talentosa. Mi propuesta para los Ilustres Ilustradores del Ecuador 2012. Una reedición de Hiedra Venenosa en la que apliqué muchos procesos y técnicas digitales aprendidos hasta hoy. Lamentablemente, y por un descuido personal, envié por error un archivo en proceso de edición en vez de la pieza final. Si mi trabajo es escogido, espero tener la oportunidad de cambiarlo para su exposición en Diciembre de este año en la ciudad de Quito. Un paso a paso de esta ilustración aquí. - My proposal for "Ilustres Ilustradores" of Ecuador 2012. A re-edition of Poison in which I applied a lot of techniques and digital process learned until now. Sadly, and for my mistake, I sent a WIP instead the final piece.
